블랙핑크 로제 첫 솔로가 나왔다. 가사가.. 영어인데 내용이 꽤 괜찮다..
평생 정말 열심히 노력해서 높은 곳에 왔는데 알고보니까 가장 중요한 것 내게 필요한 것은 아래에 있었다.. 는 내용.

그리고 높이 올라간 것은 언젠가는 내려오게 되어있는데, 자신이 이렇게 깨달은 것을 주위에 말해도 사람들이 듣지 않는다는 가사도.

제목이기도 한 on the ground.. 직역하려면 해석이 좀 애매하기는 한데, 가사 내용에 높은 곳(인기와 부와 명예 성공..)을 말하는 high가 있으니 그렇지 않은 반대의 상태를 말하는 듯. 그렇다고 부정적인 의미의 낮은 곳은 아니고.. 내가 원래 있던 그 곳을 말하겠지.. 가족 친구 소소한 삶.. 일 듯.
갠적으로 공감이 간 표현은,
초반에 나오는 가사인데.
정말 원했던 것을 가지게 되었는데 알고보니 황금인 줄 알았던 곳이 플라스틱인게 너무 웃겨.. 라는 부분.

나도 실제 경험했던 느낌.. 내가 오랫동안 원하던 동경하던 것을 실제 가졌을 때, 내가 생각했던 것과 많이 다르다고, 생각보다 시시하고 그렇게 좋은게 아니었다고 느낀 적이 많았다.
가사에 you 라는 표현이 나오는데,

이게 연인을 말하는건가 좀 헷갈리기도 했는데 뮤비를 보니... you는 어릴 적 순수한 자신, 특히 음악을 순수하게 사랑하던 자신을 뜻한다.
Trying to send a message는 그럼 과거의 나에게 메시지을 보내려고 한다는건가... 인터스텔라 생각난다.
현재의 성공한 멋지고 카리스마있지만 뭔가 행복해보이지는 않는 로제, 그 반대로 정말 순수하고 즐거워보이는 마냥 해맑은 시절의 또다른 로제, 그 둘이 만나는 장면 참 아름답더라.
정말 좋다 이런.. 뭔가 메시지를 주고싶어 하는 가사 ㅠㅠ 사랑, 이별노래는 지겹다고..
